Today (19 May 2025), Chiang Mai Night Safari clarified the cause of death of the injured goral in the Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province. On 14 May 2025, they were contacted by the Wildlife Clinic, Office of Natural Resources Conservation Area 16, Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, which was treating the injured goral, and requested to refer the goral for further treatment at the Chiang Mai Night Safari Animal Hospital so that the goral could receive a physical examination.
